“Legends in Sailing” Series

Seminar Location: Bayview Yacht Club

A series of seminars that explores the experiences and passion for sailing of top sailors
in the Great Lakes. From competing for national championships, one-design
competitions, or organizing national events, the panels share their experiences and
lessons learned. The objective is to have highly successful leaders in sailing inspire
others to achieve extraordinary success in racing or race officiating. Speakers will
discuss what drives them to success, why they pursue it, and how sailing has enriched
their lives. Each seminar will feature two or three speakers who have excelled in their
chosen pathway in sailing in a panel discussion. The area’s most successful and
interesting individuals will present their stories.
