Directions on the water
We are located on the Clinton River which is off the west shore of Anchor Bay at the North end of Lake Saint Clair, 17 nautical miles by water from the mouth of the Detroit River. The entrance to the Clinton River is located at 42°35.6 North and 82°45.8 West. Once inside the river proper North Star Sail Club is 1 mile upstream on the south shore. 

Directions on land

Note - We expect the bridge over the Clinton River from North River Rd. to South River Rd. to be closed for construction the summer of 2008. Please disregard any driving directions that route you to the North River Rd. exit.

From South. Take I-75 North through Detroit to I-94 East towards Port Huron (you are actually traveling north). Travel 20 miles to Metropolitan Parkway exit 236 (16 mile rd.). Turn right (east) on 16 mile (Metro. Park.) 2.5 miles to Jefferson Ave. Turn left (north) onto Jefferson Ave. go 1 mile to dead end at South River Road. Turn right (east) onto South River Rd. go 1 mile NSSC clubhouse will be on your left. 

From the West. Take I-696 east (Walter P Reuther Freeway) towards Port Huron to I-94 east Port Huron exit. Go 7 miles to Metropolitan Parkway exit 236 (16 mile rd.). Turn right (east) on 16 mile (Metro. Park.) 2.5 miles to Jefferson Ave. Turn left (north) onto Jefferson Ave. go 1 mile to dead end at South River Road. Turn right (east) onto South River Rd. go 1 mile NSSC clubhouse will be on your left. 

From North. From I-75 South take M-59 east exit 77A towards Utica. Travel 20 miles to I-94 West Detroit. Take I-94 west (you are actually traveling south) 4 miles to Metropolitan Parkway exit 236 (16 mile rd.). Turn left (east) onto 16 mile rd. (Metro. Park.) drive 2.5 miles to Jefferson Ave. Turn left (north) onto Jefferson Ave. go 1 mile to dead end at South River Road. Turn right (east) onto South River Rd. go 1 mile NSSC clubhouse will be on your left. 

From Port Huron, Michigan (Sarnia Bridge). Get on I-94 West towards Detroit. Travel 35.4 miles to Metropolitan Parkway exit 236 (16 mile rd.). Turn left (east) onto 16 mile rd. (Metro Park.) drive 2.5 miles to Jefferson Ave. Turn left (north) onto Jefferson Ave. go 1 mile to dead end at South River Road. Turn right (east) onto South River Rd. go 1 mile NSSC clubhouse will be on your left. 

Public Transit. Reliable public transit is not available in the Harrison Twp. area.
